• Visual Compatibility: Before installation, perform a visual check. Ensure the seal and thread match your old filter.

• Seal Lubrication: Lightly coat the rubber gasket with fresh engine oil before installation to ensure a proper seal and easy removal later.

• Tightening: Screw the filter on by hand until the gasket contacts the base, then tighten another 1/2 to 3/4 turn. Do not over-tighten with a wrench
