Important Note: Work on engine components requires care. Ensure the engine is completely cooled down before opening the system, and always use new gaskets. The following guide is intended only as assistance.
Preparation: Secure the vehicle and turn off the engine. Prepare a collection container and completely drain the coolant.
Disassembly: Remove the coolant hoses and the mounting bolts of the water pump. Remove the old unit.
Replacement: Thoroughly clean the sealing surface on the engine block. Install the new water pump with the appropriate gaskets. Tighten the screws with the prescribed torque.
Filling and Bleeding: Reconnect the hoses. Refill the system with the prescribed coolant mixture. The system must be carefully bled to avoid air pockets, which can cause overheating.
