• Visual Compatibility: Before installation, perform a visual check. Compare the plug shapes, the number of pins in the wiring harness, and the steering column diameter exactly with your original unit.

• Disconnect Battery: Always disconnect the battery before starting work. Since the ignition lock is involved, permanent live wires are present which could cause short circuits if they touch the frame.

• Cable Routing: Ensure that no cables are pinched or put under tension when sliding the unit onto the steering column. Check that the levers move freely in all positions.

• Maintenance: We recommend treating the electrical connectors with contact spray after installation to prevent corrosion caused by dust or moisture.
