Installation & Maintenance Instructions: (For guidance purposes only)

• Visual Check: Before assembly, perform a visual check. Cross-examine the overall cylinder height, cylinder base stud layout, wrist pin diameter, and cooling jacket ports with your stock old parts.

• Keep Debris Out: Ensure the crankcase opening is completely covered with a clean rag while installing the piston and circlips. If a circlip accidentally springs free and drops into the crankcase, it will require a full bottom-end teardown to retrieve.

• Piston Orientation & Rings: Look closely at the markings on top of the piston crown. An arrow typically points towards the exhaust port, while an "IN" stamp must face towards the intake (carburetor) side. Ensure all piston ring gaps are staggered around the piston according to factory service specs, and that any "Top" markings face upward towards the combustion chamber. Lubricate the cylinder wall heavily with fresh engine oil before sliding the cylinder down over the piston rings.
