• Visual Compatibility: Before installation, perform a visual check. Compare the total length (110.2 cm) and the shape of the end fittings (threads, eyelets, or balls) with your removed old part.

• Routing: Ensure the cable is routed without kinks during installation. Tight radii will cause stiffness and premature wear of the inner wire.

• Adjustment: After installation, use the adjuster screws to set the cable play so that every gear (P-R-N-H-L) engages cleanly and the cockpit indicator matches the actual transmission position.

• Heat Protection: Route the cable with sufficient clearance from hot engine parts or the exhaust system. Re-use heat protection sleeves from your old cable if necessary.

• Maintenance: To maintain smooth operation long-term, we recommend regular cleaning of the end pieces and the use of a specialized cable lubricant spray (Teflon or silicone-based)
