Installation Instructions (Intended as Guidance Only!)
Important Note: Replacing the starter clutch requires partial engine disassembly (usually behind the rotor/stator). We strongly recommend that this work be carried out by qualified personnel. The following guide is intended only as assistance.
Preparation: Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable and drain the engine oil.
Gain Access: Remove the stator housing cover and the rotor (magneto). A special flywheel puller is required.
Replacement: The clutch is mounted behind the rotor. Remove the mounting bolts and replace the old clutch. Ensure all rollers and springs of the new clutch are correctly positioned (if necessary).
Reassembly: Remount the rotor and engine cover. Always use new gaskets (sold separately) and tighten all bolts to the specified torque.
Test: Refill with fresh engine oil and test the starting function.
