• Visual Compatibility: Before installation, perform a visual compatibility check. Compare the stud hole patterns and coolant passages at the base and head precisely with your original parts.

• Piston Ring Installation: Ensure the piston rings are installed in the correct order and orientation (markings facing up). Offset the ring gaps by approximately 120 degrees from each other to ensure a perfect seal.

• Cleanliness & Lubrication: Thoroughly clean all sealing surfaces on the crankcase. Coat the cylinder bore and the piston with fresh engine oil before assembly to prevent dry running during the initial start.

• Break-in Period: Follow a break-in period of approximately 200–300 miles (300–500 km) after installation. Avoid full-throttle operation and extreme RPMs during this time to allow the rings to seat perfectly.
