Installation & Maintenance Instructions: (For guidance purposes only)
-
Visual Check: Before installation, perform a visual check. Match the inner diameter, outer diameter, and width of the needle cage against your stock unit.
-
Clutch Tools Needed: Removing and rebuilding the primary clutch requires a specialized clutch puller tool and a spider removal fixture. Never hammer on the aluminum clutch faces.
-
Proper Lubrication: Apply only a micro-thin layer of high-temperature, specialty CVT clutch grease to the rollers. Excess grease will sling outward onto the clutch sheaves, causing catastrophic belt slippage. Always torque the main clutch bolt to exact factory specifications.
