• Visual Compatibility: Before installation, perform a visual check. Carefully count the links of your old chain (38 links) and verify the pitch (428), which is usually stamped on the chain links.

• Master Link: When installing the master link, ensure the closed end of the retaining clip faces the direction of chain travel. This prevents accidental opening if it comes into contact with debris.

• Chain Tension: Adjust the chain tension so that there is approximately 15–20 mm of slack in the middle. A chain that is too tight will damage bearings, while one that is too loose may derail.

• Lubrication: Regularly clean and lubricate the chain with specialized chain spray. This reduces friction, prevents rust, and significantly extends the life of the chain and sprockets.

• Wear Inspection: When replacing the chain, also check the condition of the drive pinion and the rear sprocket. If the teeth are sharp or hooked, the entire chain kit should be replaced
