Important Note: A correctly adjusted clutch is essential for the longevity of the transmission and engine. Anyone who is unsure or does not possess the necessary specialized knowledge should have this work carried out by qualified personnel. The following guide is intended only as assistance.

1. Preparation: Secure the ATV, turn off the engine.

2. Disassembly: Loosen the adjustment screws on the clutch lever and on the transmission. Unhook the old cable at both ends and remove it.

3. Replacement: Route the new cable along the original path (important to avoid chafing!) and hook it into the clutch lever and transmission.

4. Adjustment: Adjust the clutch cable so that there is slight play (approx. 2–3 mm) at the clutch lever before the clutch disengages. Check the play at full handlebar lock (right and left).

5. Test: Start the engine and test the clutch and shifting operations. The clutch must disengage cleanly and must not slip.
