Visual Compatibility: Before installation, perform a visual check. Compare the housing dimensions, the mounting bolt spacing, and the plug's pin layout with your old part.
Sealing: Ensure the housing gasket is seated correctly during installation. For extreme use, a thin layer of silicone at the cable exit can help prevent moisture and mud from entering.
