Precision Steering for Pro Buggies! – M18 Tie Rod End for Renli RL1100 & RL1500
Heavy-duty steering joint (Rod End Bearing) – Safety for premium 4x4 models
Restore steering precision to the track! This M18 Tie Rod End is an essential component for the steering geometry of the Renli RL1100 and RL1500. Serving as the link between the tie rod and the steering knuckle, it transmits every steering movement directly and without play. Due to the high engine power and vehicle weight of these 1100cc and 1500cc machines, these joints are subject to massive stress. Replacement is mandatory as soon as play becomes noticeable to ensure directional stability and off-road safety.

Installation & Maintenance Instructions: (For guidance purposes only)
-
Visual Compatibility: Before installation, perform a visual check. Measure the thread diameter (M18) and verify the thread direction (left-hand or right-hand thread), as tie rods typically use both types to allow for toe adjustment.
-
Lock Nut: Always secure the rod end with the corresponding lock nut after installation. A loose tie rod end can lead to a total loss of steering control.
-
Wheel Alignment: After replacing a tie rod end, a wheel alignment (toe adjustment) is mandatory. Before removal, mark the position of the old head or count the thread turns to have a rough basic setting for the trip to the workshop.
-
Lubrication: If the joint features a grease fitting, it should be lubricated regularly with high-quality multi-purpose grease to prevent the ingress of water and sand.
-
Safety: Always use a new cotter pin or a new self-locking nut when mounting to the steering knuckle
