Front Shock Absorber (Coilover) – For PGO BR150-DS, Hammerhead & 150cc / 200cc Buggies
Safe Chassis Control – Guarantees Optimal Damping and Suspension on the Front Axle!
The front shock absorbers are crucial for the handling and safety of your buggy. They dampen the vibrations of the springs, keep the wheels in contact with the ground, and absorb shocks. Defective shocks lead to spongy handling, poor cornering, reduced braking performance, and can negatively affect the lifespan of other chassis components.
This Front Shock Absorber is a common replacement part suitable for many models due to its length of 330 mm and design, especially for:
-
PGO BR150-DS Buggy
-
Hammerhead 150cc Buggy
-
Other 150cc and 200cc China Buggy Models

Important Note on Verification and Compatibility
Shock absorbers must exactly match in length and mounting eyes. Please visually compare the item with your old part. Also, pay attention to all article information, especially the length of 330 mm (center of mounting eye to center of mounting eye), the diameter of the mounting eyes, and the damping system, to ensure correct and safe installation. A minimal length difference can negatively affect the chassis geometry.
Installation Instructions (Intended as Guidance Only!)
Important Note: Work on the chassis affects driving safety. Ensure the vehicle is securely jacked up and the wheels are unloaded before removing the shocks. It is recommended to replace shock absorbers in pairs to ensure balanced handling.
-
Preparation: Secure the buggy and jack up the front axle so the wheels hang freely.
-
Disassembly: Loosen the upper and lower mounting bolts of the shock absorber.
-
Replacement: Remove the old shock absorber. Insert the new shock and tighten the mounting bolts (pay attention to the prescribed torque).
-
Check: Lower the vehicle and check for clearance and suspension performance.
