• Visual Compatibility: Before installation, perform a visual compatibility check. Compare the diameter and height of the piston, as well as the piston pin diameter, with your old part.

• Piston Ring Alignment: Pay attention to the markings on the rings during installation (usually "T" or "Top" facing up). Offset the ring gaps by approximately 120 degrees from each other to minimize compression loss.

• Orientation: Note the marking on the piston crown (usually an arrow or "IN"). The arrow typically points toward the exhaust port (please consult the manufacturer's workshop manual).

• Initial Lubrication: Generously coat the piston and cylinder wall with fresh engine oil before assembly to prevent friction damage during the first few engine revolutions.
