Preparation: Secure the ATV, turn off the engine, and disconnect the battery (negative terminal first!).
Disassembly: Locate the old regulator. Carefully unplug the connectors and remove the mounting bolts.
Replacement: Mount the new regulator in the original location. Ensure good metallic contact for cooling, as the regulator dissipates heat. Connect all plugs securely.
Test: Reconnect the battery. Start the engine and measure the system voltage with a voltmeter directly at the battery. At medium RPM, the value should be between 13.5V and 14.5V.
