Tools: A clutch holding tool and a large socket for the central nut are usually required for disassembly.
Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the inside of the new clutch bell with brake cleaner before installation to remove any preservative grease.
Inspection: When replacing the clutch, also check the condition of the drive belt and variator rollers.
Bearings: Check the transmission input shaft bearing for play before sliding the new unit onto the shaft.
