Visual Compatibility: Before installation, perform a visual check. Compare the number and length of the springs as well as the shape of the pressure plate with your removed original parts.
Oil Bath Preparation: If you are also installing new clutch plates, soak them in fresh engine oil for at least 2–4 hours before installation.
Torque: Ensure the clutch springs are tightened in a crosswise pattern and to the manufacturer's specified torque. Overtightening can damage the clutch basket bolts; undertightening leads to clutch slip.
Gasket Replacement: We recommend using a new crankcase cover gasket every time the clutch cover is opened to prevent future leaks.
Cleanliness: Thoroughly clean the inside of the engine case and the oil strainer/filter of old clutch plate debris before assembling the new parts
