-
Visual Check: Before starting, perform a visual check. Measure your handlebar diameter (22 mm) and throttle system. Note for Quad/ATV Riders: This set is designed for twist-throttle setups (26 mm right grip). If your ATV utilizes a thumb-throttle, you will typically require two 22 mm left grips instead.
-
Clean Surface Prep: Remove old grips and thoroughly clean all glue, grease, and dirt off the handlebar and throttle tube.
-
Easy Slide-On: Do NOT use grease or oil for installation. Spray a small amount of brake cleaner, hairspray, or dedicated grip glue inside the grip. Slide it into place quickly while wet. Allow it to cure completely before riding to prevent slipping.
-
Throttle Safety Clearance: Ensure the right grip does not rub against the throttle housing or bar-end plugs. The twist throttle must snap back smoothly and instantly when released.
