Restore your engine's power! This Valve Set consists of one intake valve and one exhaust valve, specifically manufactured for air-cooled 200cc engines (163FML) used in Bashan and Shineray quads. Valves are subject to extreme thermal and mechanical stress. Burnt valve edges or carbon deposits lead to poor compression and starting difficulties. This set restores the gas tightness of your combustion chamber and ensures optimal cylinder filling.
Visual Compatibility: Before installation, perform a visual check. Compare the total length, stem diameter, and valve head diameter exactly with your old valves.
Valve Lapping: We strongly recommend lapping the new valves into the cylinder head using a specialized valve grinding compound before final assembly. This is the only way to guarantee 100% gas tightness (check with a leak test, e.g., using fuel in the combustion chamber).
Stem Seals: Always replace the valve stem seals when changing valves to prevent increased oil consumption and blue smoke.
Valve Clearance: After installation and engine reassembly, the valve clearance must be readjusted (usually 0.05 mm to 0.10 mm, depending on manufacturer specs).
Inspect Keepers: Ensure that the valve keepers (collets) are correctly seated in the grooves before releasing the tension on the valve springs
