Safety at a Glance! – Brake Fluid Reservoir for Quad & ATV (250 - 300 cc)

Replacement Expansion Tank – Robust & Transparent

Ensure a reliable braking system! This Brake Fluid Reservoir serves as an external expansion tank for the foot brake master cylinder on the rear axle. It is specifically designed for quads and ATVs in the 250cc to 300cc class (such as Shineray, Bashan, Eagle Lyda). Thanks to the transparent material, you can check the fluid level at any time, which is essential for driving safety. The durable housing is resistant to aggressive brake fluid as well as vibrations and debris during off-road use.

Technical Specifications & Details

  • Component: Brake fluid expansion tank (Rear axle)

  • Material: High-quality, impact-resistant plastic (transparent)

  • Scope of Delivery: Reservoir including screw cap and seal

  • Compatibility: * Shineray: 250 STXE, STIXE, ST-9E

    • Bashan: 250 series

    • Universal: Many other Chinese quads, ATVs, and UTVs (250 - 300 cc)

  • Benefit: Integrated mounting bracket for easy attachment to the frame.

Installation & Maintenance Instructions: (For guidance purposes only)

  • Visual Compatibility: Before installation, perform a visual check. Compare the hose connection diameter and the position of the mounting hole with your old part.

  • Hose Inspection: Check the connection hose to the brake cylinder for cracks or porosity. We recommend replacing the hose if it shows signs of wear and securing it with appropriate clamps.

  • Cleanliness: When filling, ensure that no dirt or water enters the reservoir. Even the smallest particles can damage the valves in the brake cylinder.

  • Fluid Level: Fill the reservoir only up to the "MAX" mark with fresh brake fluid (usually DOT 4). Overfilling can cause issues when the brakes heat up.

  • Bleeding: If air has entered the system, the braking system must be professionally bled after replacing the reservoir
