Installation Instructions (Intended as Guidance Only!)

Important Note: Work on the electrical system requires caution. Always disconnect the battery before working on the regulator. Ensure that the ground connection of the regulator is clean and secure, as this is essential for correct function.

1. Preparation: Secure the quad and turn off the engine. Disconnect the battery (negative terminal first!).

2. Disassembly: Locate the regulator (often on the frame with cooling fins). Disconnect the electrical plugs. Loosen the mounting bolts.

3. Replacement: Remove the old regulator. Install the new regulator and tighten the mounting bolts. Ensure the regulator has good contact with the chassis (important for cooling and ground).

4. Test: Reconnect the plugs and the battery. Start the engine and measure the battery voltage (should rise to approx. 13.5 - 14.5 Volts at idle) to check correct function.
