Installation Instructions (Intended as Guidance Only!)

Important Note: Work on the chassis is safety-relevant and can affect the axle geometry. Anyone who is unsure or does not possess the necessary specialized knowledge should have this work carried out by qualified personnel. Wheel alignment is usually required after replacing suspension parts.

1. Preparation: Secure the ATV, turn off the engine, and safely lift the vehicle to free the wheel.

2. Disassembly: Remove the wheel. Loosen the castle nut and remove the cotter pin from the ball joint bolt. Separate the joint from the steering knuckle using a suitable puller (ball joint separator).

3. Replacement: Unscrew the old ball joint. Screw the new ball joint tightly (pay attention to the correct thread direction; often left-hand and right-hand threads are used). Insert the joint bolt into the steering knuckle.

4. Assembly and Test: Tighten the castle nut with the prescribed torque and secure it with a new cotter pin. Mount the wheel. Finally, the alignment should be re-adjusted.
