1. Safety: ALWAYS disconnect the negative (-) battery cable first!

2. Location: The relay is usually mounted near the battery.

3. Replacement: Disconnect the four cables (two thick cables for battery/starter and two thin control cables). Replace the relay and reconnect the cables in the correct order and tightness.

4. Test: Reconnect the battery and test the starting function.
