Important Note: Replacing the stator is a complex intervention in the electrical system of the engine. We strongly recommend that this work be carried out by qualified personnel. The following guide is intended only as assistance.
Preparation: Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable and drain the engine oil (as the stator is located in the oil sump).
Disassembly: Remove the stator housing cover and disconnect the cable connectors of the old stator.
Replacement: Remove the mounting screws of the old stator. Mount the new stator securely in the engine cover. Ensure the cable is routed correctly.
Reassembly:Always use a new engine cover gasket (sold separately) to prevent oil leaks. Tighten the cover screws evenly.
Test: Connect the electrical plugs and the battery, refill the engine oil. Measure the charging voltage at the voltage regulator to check for correct function (should be approx. 14.0 V to 14.5 V).
