Preparation: Secure the ATV, turn off the engine, and disconnect the battery if necessary.
Disassembly: Remove the air filter box and the carburetor. Loosen the clamps and screws that fasten the old intake manifold to the carburetor/throttle body and the cylinder head.
Replacement: Remove the old manifold and thoroughly clean the sealing surfaces on the cylinder head. Install the new intake manifold, use new gaskets (if not included), and tighten all screws evenly.
Reassembly and Test: Reassemble the carburetor and the air filter box. After starting, check the engine running. If unmetered air was the problem, it may be necessary to readjust the idle speed or the mixture screw.
