Carburetor Tuning: A sport air filter allows more air into the combustion chamber. To prevent engine damage due to overheating (lean mixture), the carburetor jetting should be checked and increased if necessary. The spark plug should show a "tan/brown" color after the first few runs.
Weather Protection: Since this is an open filter, it should be mounted away from direct water spray. For rides in deep water or heavy rain, we recommend using a splash guard or an airbox.
Cleaning: The filter is washable. Clean it regularly with a dedicated cleaner and, after drying, treat it with air filter oil to effectively trap fine dust particles
