Precision Guidance for Your Chassis! – Upper Ball Joint (M12 / M16)
High-Quality Ball Joint – Maximum stability for sport and street quads
Ensure a safe ride! This Upper Ball Joint is a crucial component of your quad's suspension. It provides the articulated connection between the upper A-arm and the steering knuckle. Made of robust, hardened steel and protected by a durable dust boot, this joint is specifically designed for the demands of 250cc to 350cc models. The precise thread combination of M12 (taper side) and M16 (mounting side) makes it a standard replacement part for many well-known brands and Chinese quads.

Installation & Maintenance Instructions: (For guidance purposes only)
-
Visual Compatibility: Before installation, perform a visual check. Measure the thread diameters (M12 and M16) and the thread pitch of your old part to rule out any mismatches.
-
Replace in Pairs: We recommend always replacing ball joints in pairs per axle. If one joint is worn, the opposite one usually has reached a similar level of wear.
-
Chassis Alignment: Since screwing in the M16 thread affects the wheel camber, a check of the suspension settings (camber and toe) is necessary after installation. Count the turns of the old joint during removal as a rough guide.
-
Securement: Always use the supplied castle nut with a cotter pin or a new self-locking nut for attachment to the steering knuckle. Re-check the tightness after the first 50 kilometers.
-
Protection: Ensure that the rubber boot is not damaged during installation. A tear in the boot will lead to premature wear of the ball joint due to dirt ingress
